Clubhouse Plaza Team Store expansion

truist park | atlanta, georgia

Truist Park's larger Clubhouse Team Store offered substantial retail capacity, but the Braves wanted a more visible plaza-facing presence that could operate without requiring full staffing of the main store. Larimer Design developed an outward-facing retail addition that functions as a standalone kiosk while also working seamlessly with the larger store.

Roll-up garage doors and portable merchandise displays allow the kiosk to open directly onto the plaza and expand its footprint beyond the permanent enclosure. When fully deployed, the flexible display system effectively doubles the available retail display area, creating a more prominent shopping experience during peak game-day periods.

The design also provides operational flexibility. The kiosk can operate independently when staffing or merchandise needs are limited, while opening into the larger store and plaza when additional capacity is needed.

Completed during the off-season, the project was ready for Opening Day 2020, demonstrating how a targeted retail intervention can increase visibility, expand merchandising capacity, and create greater operational flexibility without expanding the footprint of the primary store.
