The Fresno Grizzlies’ home clubhouse at Chukchansi Park underwent a major renovation in 2024, designed by Larimer Design to meet Major League Baseball’s updated facility standards for player development environments. As the Single-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, the Grizzlies now enjoy a modern, functional, and comfortable space that supports performance, team identity, and well-being.
“Our goal was to create a modern environment that supports player performance and well-being while reflecting the professionalism of today’s game,” said Tom Larimer, AIA, Principal at Larimer Design. “Each upgrade — from the new lounge to the expanded staff areas — was designed to enhance both function and team culture.”
Key Home Clubhouse Improvements:
New custom player lockers
Dedicated player lounge
New coaches’ locker room
Renovated weight room

These improvements modernize Chukchansi Park’s player development facilities, enhancing functionality, comfort, and operational efficiency for both home and visiting teams. They are part of a multi-year effort by Larimer Design and the City of Fresno to ensure Chukchansi Park complies with evolving MLB standards while providing a model environment for minor league ballparks.
Together, these upgrades position Chukchansi Park as a next-generation minor league facility—supporting players, staff, and teams while elevating the overall experience for fans and the baseball community.
