Extensive remodel of an existing, two-story single-family residence. Located in San Diego’s prestigious Mission Hills neighborhood, the home was torn down to studs and rebuilt to include a formal street-level Entrance, Living Room, renovated Master Suite and secondary bedrooms at the Ground Level. An open, u-shaped stair invites guests to an open second floor Great Room, with a commanding 180-degree view of San Diego Bay, the San Diego Airport and Mission Bay. The roof was raised approximately 18 inches to provide increased volume at the second floor.
